I put this on Instagram a couple hours ago…I thought it was pretty…and I thought I needed to reign-in my food (fuel) this month. In addition to the attempts I make at trying on a very old pair of jeans, I like to take measurements with this lovely red tape. This is the only way I can track fat-loss goals without driving myself CRAZY by stepping on the scale every day.
DON’T do it ladies! Don’t get on the scale every damn day. The scale doesn’t know if you gained muscle, lost fat, are at a certain lovely point in your cycle or simply had too much sodium yesterday!
Back to the SHAKE – I received lots of texts, FB messages, etc. asking what was in this delish concoction. So, since I was taught to share, here it is (approx.)
2 Scoops of US Enzymes Proteinxym Vanilla (yes, I realize that’s 28 grams of protein.)
1 cup (or less) of Almond Milk
1 cup (I guess?) of my parent’s frozen Raspberries from last year’s harvest
2 T Coconut Cream Concentrate (coconut butter)
A random quantity of flax…honestly have no clue
Since I know I will then receive comments about the protein powder itself, as well as the coconut cream, I have a picture for you! Aren’t I nice?
